Oh Britney! Britney has been suspended from seeing her children after her behavoir when not handing them over to K Fed's bodygaurd, It ended up with abulances taking away Britney because of hysterics. Apprently her reaction was caused by some unknown substance, So it's not been a good start to the year.

Madonna - Like A Virgin + Extended Mixes

Image:Like A Virgin.jpg
A great choice, winner of the first poll here with 3 votes, followed by "Forever" from the Spice Girls.

Madonna's second studio album is possibly the album that put her into stardom because of the naughtiness and well known video's and preformances from the album. The album contained her signiture hit "Material Girl" and other hit singles including "Like A Virgin", "Dress You Up", "Love Don't Live Here Anymore" which was released in 1996 for another album and "Angel" a double A side with Madonna's first UK number one "Into The Groove".

The album is one of her best 80's albums because of the young vibe of songs like "Angel", "Over & Over" and "Material Girl", it contained some lovely slow songs like "Shoo-Bee-Do" and "Love Don't Live Here Anymore" showing a more of a poweful singer. In 2001 she re-released and digitaly remastered her first 3 albums and added special remixes, the remixes are better known as extended or maxi versions and are very good espcially the Material Girl one.

You must Download: Material Girl (Extended Dance Mix)

1. Material Girl
2. Angel
3. Like A Virgin
4. Over And Over
5. Love Don't Live Here Anymore
6. Dress You Up
7. Shoo-Bee-Do
8. Pretender
9. Stay
Bonus Mixes
10. Like A Virgin (Extended Dance Remix)
11. Material Girl (Extended Dance Remix)

Chart Commentary

A new year has begun and the chart is up and running again, however I am posting it because I am off to Wales and wont have the internet (I don't know how I am going to survive) so here it is on a Thursday. So when we last left off the Spice Girls were my number one but that's changed completly with one of my favourite solo stars ever. Mutya has had hits with "Real Girl", "Song 4 Mutya" and has had a bit of a flop with her 3rd "Just A Little Bit". But "B Boy Baby" is deffinatly going to be one of her best hits yet because of catchy beat and funky lyrics oh and also had Amy Winehouse singing parts of the song and I love it. Just missing out on the top is Miss American Dream Since She Was 17 Britney with her next single "Piece Of Me" which is alot better than her comeback single "Gimme More" and the video is just amazing! And at number 3 is Girl Powers biggest sellers the Spice Girls with "Headlines" which didn't even make top 10 in the UK but has been a former Friday Chart Number One! There are quite a few late new entries and a few dramatic drops. So lets crack on shall we?
